Our client is a leading provider of Affordable Housing in the greater NYC area and is looking to add a Buidling Director to their South Bronx location. As the Building Director / Property Manager, you will serve as the ambassador of the building to the greater community, ensuring not only the building but it's resident population shine with pride and distinction. A Strong Leadership Presence is KEY!

Your role will be pivotal, as you take the reins of operations and lead their dedicated teams to new heights of excellence. From managing nearly 150 units of affordable housing options to overseeing amenities and commercial spaces available for rent, you'll be at the helm of it all. Understanding the importance of fostering strong relationships, they are seeking an individual with impeccable interpersonal skills. Your ability to handle tenants with care and discretion, while maintaining professionalism with vendors and clients, will be paramount in ensuring a harmonious environment for all. In addition to the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact in the community, they offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with your experience. Top Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of experience with technical expertise (facilities knowledge).
  • Section 8, LIHTC experience (required).
  • Previous supervisory experience (large staff of operations for buidling), team would benefit from having a strong manager in place, leadership is key!
  • With Approximately 150 units, it's necessary to have prior experience of this scale.
  • PR skills to be savvy with community partners.
  • Promote event space (rooftop for Independence Day fireworks, etc.) to bring in donors and vendors, tons of potential!
  • Self-starter takes initiative.
