Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Demonstrated professional competence in research activities. Specialized training and experience in operating equipment, carrying out test procedures, and using special methods for data collation and interpretation. Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of full-time experience in molecular biology research. Experience using cell culture. Experience in cloning and related procedures. Experience in protein analysis. Experience using viral vectors. Experience in qPCR and RT-qPCR. Experience in protein expression and purification. Experience in microscopy. Brief Description of Duties:

Within defined test or analytical protocols, operate equipment, carry out test procedures, as well as collate and interpret data using special methods in support of a research project or program for Dr. Patrick Hearing in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
