Job Details:Title: Music Content Operations Research Analyst Location: California, Remote Duration: 12 Months Contract Summary:The Media Operations team develops solutions for media companieson Client by creating scaled systems to address the issues impacting their experiences with the suite of Client products. Our Music Label Operations team is committed to providing support for music content partners inclusive of the specific needs of the industry. We are seeking a Music Content Operations Research Analyst to support global operations functions for music labels. Candidates will be data driven and flexible to frequent changes. They are expected to think creatively about ambiguous issues and are passionate about problem-solving. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and regions. Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day ongoing operations with Client's North American music label partners.
  • Develop and provide scalable solutions for issue identification and resolution.
  • Communication with partners with regard to data delivery and data validation, including general documentation.
  • Develop an understanding on Client's music rights management products and how they are being used across constituent groups.
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Music background, preferably with record label, complex DSP or UGC platform experience
  • Knowledge of music copyright, music licensing, and digital rights management products
  • Technical operations capacity (i.e. advanced querying, data fluency, read/write specs, troubleshoot data issues, scripting, etc., proficient in both SQL and Excel)
  • Understand sensitivities around IP policy, processes, and products.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
