Location: Seattle, WA (98109)
- Start onsite for training, then transition to FULLY REMOTE (100%) after 30 days (or as short as two weeks, depending on experience and learning speed)
Schedule/Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Duration: This is an 800-hour contracted role with no guarantee of conversion to full-time employment (FTE).
Pay Rate: $19-$24.40/hour
Responsibilities:
- Imaging, radiology, PT referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Access assigned work queue using Epic.
- Follow up on authorizations from the previous day.
- Initiate new authorizations.
- Manage inbox of questions, including outside referral requests.
- Sort work queue daily: authorizations, referrals, tracking authorizations.
- Assist teammates if queues are cleared.
- Daily Expectations/Metrics: Process 15-30 authorizations per day, depending on complexity.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of referral experience (initiating, creating, and tracking referrals).
- 2-3+ years of experience with OneHealth Port and AIM Portal.
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology.
- Epic experience is preferred, but not required.
