We are seeking skilled and flexible Registered Nurses to join our team on a per diem/Full time or Part time basis. As Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, providing high-quality patient care across various departments and specialties within our hospital. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and standards of practice.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations, health histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following proper medication administration procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address patient needs.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards and best practices in nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NY
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care nursing preferred.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS,
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
