Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team.
• As an essential member of our healthcare facility, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in emergency situations.
• You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, treat, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, adhering to established standards, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments upon arrival, including vital signs monitoring, medical history review, and initial triage to determine acuity level.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and proper administration techniques.
• Perform emergency procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound care, and trauma stabilization in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, paramedics, and technicians, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, document observations, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions to promote optimal recovery and prevent future emergencies.

Requirements

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• RN license in NY

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in Emergency Department
• EPIC experience.
