Job Description:

The Fuel Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial clients to sell fuel products and services. You will identify prospective customers, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction to drive sales growth and revenue. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of the fuel industry.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives. Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, customer visits, and referrals to identify potential residential clients.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective customers. Conduct research to understand the needs and requirements of potential clients and tailor sales presentations accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely delivery and excellent service to clients.
  • Manage payment terms, pricing, invoicing and order fulfilment activities.
  • Provide reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and customer loyalty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • AS Degree or higher education, or equivalent industry-related experience. Bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in commercial sales, preferably in the fuel or energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of fuel products, pricing structures, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software(s).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
