Job Description:
The Regional Commercial Relationship Manager III is responsible for serving as a trusted business advisor to clients and provide a full breadth of banking solutions to meeting their financial objectives and needs while establishing a network of referral sources and Centers of Influence with regularcalling efforts to generate new business opportunities. The Regional Commercial Relationship Manager III is also responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships, ensuring an exceptional client experience, while appropriately managing risk, credit quality, servicing, etc. in accordance with Northwest standards and in partnership with a portfolio management team.Essential FunctionsDevelop and expand existing commercial banking relationshipsProspect actively and successfully bring in new relationships to NorthwestEngage with the various product partners on a regular basis to discuss cross selling opportunities and referrals to expand and deepen client relationshipsAchieve and exceed budget goals as assigned individually and by regionActively participate in community and professional networking eventsDevelop meaningful Centers of Influence relationshipsEstablish and maintain an ongoing prospect list, and a set calling and meeting schedule for prospects, existing clients, and COIsEncourage existing clients to provide ongoing referrals for all types of products and services, and clients and their employees to maintain their personal banking at NorthwestManage a commercial loan portfolio of both credit and noncredit clientsMake loan presentations and recommendations to Credit, team leaders, and senior line of business managers as requiredPartner with credit and portfolio management to ensure annual reviews and line of credit renewals are completed on a timely basisEnsure noncredit clients have appropriate treasury management and other related commercial services, and risk ratings are appropriateAs required, collect on delinquent accountsAnalyze financial statements and related credit material to stay apprised of client performance and assess risk on a continuous basis in conjunction with Portfolio ManagementComplete loan closings in partnership with Portfolio ManagementEnsure all credit files include current financial statements, agency reports, etc. in partnership with Portfolio ManagementParticipate in continued sales, product and credit trainingAdditional Essential FunctionsEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipmentAdditional ResponsibilitiesComplete special projects as assignedSafety and Health for those without supervisory duties Abide by the rules of the safety and loss prevention programPerform work tasks in a safe mannerReport any and all injuries to supervisorKnow what to do in case of an emergencyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidate's experience, skills, and knowledge.
