Recreation Therapist Responsibilities
- Prepare recreationalprograms and activities to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests ofresidents
- Maintain records ofresidents' attendance and participation in activities
- Coordinate activitieswith other departments as necessary
- Follow care plans inproviding daily activities for residents
- Encourage residents totake part in personal development
- Promote physical,social, and mental well-being of residents
Recreation Therapist Requirements - High school diploma orits equivalent
- Strong interpersonaland communication skills
Preferred - Previous experience inlong-term care
