Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply and Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Echelon is seeking an entry-level Quality Inspector, who will assist the Quality department with the day-to-day tasks of the team.Duties and Responsibilities:Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications, to perform inspections on a variety of products including hose assemblies and government kitsUse measurement tools to determine compliance with the hose order specifications and quality control standardsReview all paperwork done by Production staff, to ensure correct components were used to build hose ordersLabel all completed orders, while simultaneously cross-checking paperwork again for accuracyMaintain records and documentation of the quality activities, assuring accuracyQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent requiredPrior machine shop experience is preferredAbility to read a tape measure and good math skills requiredAbility to interact well with various departments within the organizationSkills and Abilities:Strong attention to detailWorks well in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft OutlookPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:Speak clearly and hear.Be comfortable staying on their feet for most of the day.
