Job description: The Quality Engineer's primary responsibility is to assist Manufacturing in solving the product, process, and systemic problems that occur daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Manufacturing in solving the product, process, and systemic problems.
  • Assure the quality of product used to manufacture FEI products.
  • Performing supplier evaluations (surveys and audits).
  • Reviewing and dispositioning nonconforming incoming material
  • Implementing corrective and preventive actions with suppliers
  • Reviewing and approving incoming material inspection and test data

Requirements:

  • 1 year(s) experience as a Quality engineer or related Experience
  • Experience working in Aerospace/Defense.
  • Experience working with AS9100.
  • Experience working with Space level equipment is a plus.

Job location: Uniondale, NY - On-Site.
