It is also one of the global independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics, discovery pharmacology, forensics, CDMO, advanced material sciences and in the support of clinical studies.If you're looking for a rewarding career, a place to call home, apply with us today!Job DescriptionLeading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilitiesMonthly meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managersDisseminate administrative communicationsApply the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibilityFinancial responsibilities as defined by the Director of the departmentDemonstrate and promote the company visionProactively plan and multitask to maximize productivityMeet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborationLead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environmentOrganize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlinesEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and maximizes performance through management operating system to gain efficienciesAssist Director with business operations as neededStays current science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clientsEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and performanceFoster morale and teamworkQualificationsThe Ideal Candidate would possess:Scientific background with hands on QC laboratory experience - preferably in either Raw Materials testing or Sample HandlingStrong dynamic leadership skillsA good understanding of day to day business operationsDemonstrate strong client service skills, teamwork, project management and collaborationStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesBusiness Management education or experience preferredMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience4+ years of hands on QC in a pharmaceutical setting4+ years of Leadership experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional Information#LI-EB1Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
