To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Institute and maintain programs that ensure conformance to quality inspection procedures and standards. Adhere to, facilitate, and administer continual product safety in accordance with the SQF Code, Prerequisite, HACCP and Food Safety Programs. Delegate job responsibilities and manage Quality personnel. Evaluate and process customer complaints / credits and facilitate corrective action. Ensure conformance to both internal and customer specifications. Assure maintenance of Quality records in an organized, functional and traceable system Develop and implement programs that continuously improve the consistency of products with equal or reduced costs. Develop, control and administer Quality Department operational budget. Communicate directly with customers regarding quality issues and their resolution. Adhere to all Company and departmental procedures. Oversee and facilitate internal audit function (for Food Safety and Quality Systems). Lead MOC (Management of Change) process for the facility to ensure compliance for any material, process, or product change. Oversee all CQV processes and procedures along with IQOQPQ. Qualifications College degree preferred with course work in quality management, statistics and sciences. Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Quality Manager for a manufacturing company. Supervisory experience with a department of ten (10) employees or more. Computer expertise including fluency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledgeable in Food Safety Systems, the SQF Code and the packaging industry strongly preferred. Certification in HACCP and ISO Internal Auditing strongly preferred. Financial and departmental budget experience. Ability to travel, as required.
