One of our clients, a major in Financial Services is looking for a strong QA/Test Automation Engineer. This is a W2 only position and requires minimum 7-8 years of experience.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile team as a QA/SET, collaborating with developers on test case definition, execution and automation.
- Proficient in Oracle Database SQL/Postgres, ideally Cloud variants such as CLoudSQL.
- Experience testing containerised applications in Kubernetes/GKE, ideally in GCP.
- Experience testing J2EE, Tomcat or other Java Application Server based applications
- Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Experience using continuous integration/deployment tools such as XLR, Bitbucket/Stash, Argo Workflows, Jenkins
- Experience using collaboration tools JIRA, Confluence
- Knowledge of trading, capital markets very useful
- Knowledge of Asset Management, banking, settlement domain would be helpful but not required
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.
- Ability to work independently.
