- Bachelor s degree in a related field - Computer Science/Engineering preferred!
- Related work or internship experience preferred!
- Experience with liquid handlers (Hamilton STAR), or general biology/chemistry knowledge or hands-on lab experience are a plus.
A typical day as a QC Analyst (Automation) might include:
- Helping support routine maintenance and operation of the laboratory.
- Performing regular maintenance activities, reagent preparation, and Hamilton STARlet standalone assay operation to support lab activities for QC Automation team.
- Performing laboratory cleaning activities
- Data entry, filing and other administrative duties
- Providing technical and automation operational support to QC GMP lab
- Supporting development and end user personnel as needed throughout implementation of Client applications of automation within the QC labs
- Support equipment and software qualification/validation activities.
- Providing support for automation/robotics related investigations and other quality processes
- Reviewing test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies
