RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Your Impact:

As part of the quality management team, you will be leading QA engineering team, helping development teams deliver a diverse set of technology products meeting a high degree of excellence. You will do this by supporting development processes and building confidence that will result in high quality software by investing in test automation across platforms/devices and browsers. You will engage and collaborate with Product and Engineering colleagues to understand requirements, groom stories, create technical approach for testing features, and build automated test suites in parallel as your colleagues build the features. If you like collaborating with extremely skilled developers to solve problems, experience a lot of different technology while delighting the customer, this is the place for you.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:

  • Develop automated test scripts for functional end-to-end regression
  • Encourage good & consistent software development practices.
  • Functionally test individual features. Assess if testing framework is adequate, and build on it iteratively.
  • Document test cases and capture evidence
  • Thoroughly document and communicate defects
  • Build rapport with development team by reporting accurate defects and being a subject matter expert
  • Collaborate with software engineers to reproduce defects and to gain understanding of functionality
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Represent Quality Management to senior stakeholders, operating a metric-driven approach to team management and progression
  • Be a key contributor to your Scrum team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in Bachelors degree in Computer Science, computer engineering or related field
  • 5+ years experience in test case automation, documentation and evidencing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience documenting, prioritizing, and facilitating defect remediation
  • Experience with testing tools and programming languages such as Selenium, JavaScript, JSON and Jasmine
  • Some experience in data verification and SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior development experience in Java or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Spock testing framework is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile, responsiveness & accessibility testing is also a plus.
  • Web development fundamentals - HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • API development fundamentals - HTTP, REST principles
