R&J Components Corp is a wholesale distributor of electronic components. Our product catalog includes components such as, capacitors, resistors, semiconductors, relays, connectors, potentiometers, knobs, terminal boards, fuse and much more.

Job Description:

The Purchasing Clerk position is responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly and annual sales goals by sourcing, negotiating, and building relationships with vendors of electronic components. Knowledge of electronic components is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

- Order electronic components

- Negotiate prices with vendors

- Create purchase orders and manage PO from inception through delivery

- Keep track of orders and deliveries

- Expedite PO's as necessary

- Build relationships with current vendors and research new vendors

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
