Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants in accordance with fair housing regulations
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and renewals
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard - Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including financial transactions, leases, and maintenance requests
- Stay up-to-date with local rental market trends and regulations Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of file management systems and property management software
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong customer service skills
- Thorough understanding of fair housing regulations and legal administrative processes
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve tenant disputes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in customer relationship management (CRM)
