PROJECT WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER -
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead or oversee water planning and design projects, as well as construction engineering services for water systems.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.
- Construction Documentation: Prepare construction drawings and specifications for public bidding processes.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and coordination of all project activities.
- Project Delivery: Ensure all project requirements are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, both for client satisfaction and technical accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Manage production schedules, maintain quality control, standardize processes, and supervise junior staff members.
- Technology and Financial Management: Implement new technologies, manage financial performance, prepare cost proposals, and oversee project budgets.
- Compliance Experience: Have experience with Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) and Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) regulations and practices.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources or related consulting and design.
- Strong client relationship management and technical writing skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
- Experience in wastewater project design and construction is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired.
