Job Description:

Manhattan based Real Estate Development Company seeks an energetic and dedicated Project Manager/Designer. This position will support the development and construction team in all facets of planning, design, and project management for new and existing properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage third party design professionals, expeditors, and contractors to ensure projects are brought to completion on time and within budget.
  • Review tenant construction documents and signage submittals for compliance with owner requirements and leases.
  • Review zoning and building codes for new properties and redevelopment projects.
  • Create initial site development plans and details for retail and office construction projects.
  • Create leasing plans and diagrams, rendered site plans, elevations and signage drawings, and other marketing materials for tenants and properties.
  • Management of property plans, as-builts, and design criteria and construction handbooks.
  • Coordination, tracking, and reporting of all DOB filings, permits and closeouts.
  • Provide general technical support, including for resolution of DOB violations.
  • Perform area calculations and material take-offs using industry standard methods.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and maintain project correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in architecture or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years experience in architecture or engineering, retail and office exposure preferred.
  • Highly organized problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects of varying scope.
  • Strong working knowledge of zoning, building codes, planning, material specifications, construction detailing, and MEP systems.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite.

Schedule: Full-time in office, Monday to Friday

Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
