Job Description:
Representing a leader in the Architectural Metal & Glass industry, we are searching for two Project Managers to join their custom metal & glass division in their NYC headquarters. Our client offers high quality metal & glass solutions for any size and scope of work.Our team has decades of experience, the only truly national resource in this expertise. They provide turn-key service, creating highly customized products- storefronts, railings, canopies, curtain walls, specialized ornamental metal, glass, & film.Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
Education and Experience:
  • At least two years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, systems design, or other related field, with at least one year of management experience leading multidisciplinary project teams required.
  • Blueprint Reading a must.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee various aspects of engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling of the assigned project.
  • Supervise progress of the project from start to finish.
  • Serve as the liaison for all communications with the client.
  • Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and project estimates of products, time, install labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
  • Compare the actual products of the project to estimates.
  • Recommend and/or analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise.
  • Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources, and of subcontract installers.
  • Manage and communicate requirements for Change Orders to project team and clients.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports for leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
