The Facilities Engineer & Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing engineering and construction projects related to facility, utility, and general infrastructure within the organization. Here's a summary of the position, its organizational structure, responsibilities, and qualifications:

Summary of Position: The Facilities Engineer & Project Manager is responsible for leading engineering and construction projects from design inception to release to Operations. This includes providing daily engineering support to facilities and utilities operations.

Organization Structure: This role is part of the Engineering group and reports directly to the Senior Plant Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional project teams for facility and utility improvement projects.
• Develop, manage, and track project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety requirements during all project phases.
• Write and execute validation and commissioning protocols.
• Produce and maintain project documentation.

• Provide daily engineering support to Facilities Maintenance Technicians.
• Manage contractors for repair and installation services.
• Manage utility loads to ensure adequate system capacity and plan for future needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Word.

Additionally, candidates must have experience in facilities or construction-related roles and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
