Job DescriptionCome join us at Fedcap Rehabilitation Services as a Program Coordinator! Salary: $46k to $50k JOB PURPOSE: The Program Coordinator provides vocational assessment and job preparation services to adults and students with various disabilities. JOB SUMMARY: The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Pre-Employment Transition Services program, which provides students aged 14-21 with services to prepare them for successful long-term employment consistent with their strengths, abilities, interests, and informed choice. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for providing work readiness and career exploration services to adults with disabilities to assist them to with creating a path towards self-sufficiency and economic independence. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Overseeing participant recruitment, assessment, attendance, and follow up.
  • Collaborating with other organizations on referrals and enrollment
  • Developing monthly quantitative and qualitative reports on program performance that includes attendance, delivery of employability workshops or education classes, and internship activities.
  • Implementing program curricula according to funder standards.
  • Processing monthly billing paperwork according to funder requirements
  • Analyzing service delivery strategies and developing continuous improvements plans.
  • Managing contract implementation and monitoring performance targets
  • Drafting written products for a variety of presentations.
  • Conducting enrollment sessions.
  • Conducting individualized career exploration assessments, work readiness and self-advocacy groups.
  • Communicating with referring agency counselors on a regular basis and conducting case conferences.
  • Reporting to supervisor and funder regarding program attendance, program participation, and program activities.
  • Case management; maintaining participant files and preparing and submitting reports according to standards and requirements of referring agency (ACCES-VR).
  • Representing organization at partner and funders (ACCES-VR) meetings

An employee must be able to accomplish the Essential Functions to be competent in the job. Other special requirements are noted below. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
    • Master's Degree preferred
    Soft Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Work Conditions: Work is typically performed in an office environment but may be required to perform job duties outside of the office setting. Special Schedule: Normal schedule is standard business hours Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm; with occasional evenings and weekends as per programmatic needs. Travel Demand: Occasional travel may be required as needed to present program to schools and community-based organizations as well as funder meetings. Job Experience: Two (2) years' experience providing vocational assessment services, workforce development, or job development services with people with disabilities. Experience working with youth or young adults preferable. Personal Qualities:
