We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Excel is a must for this role, as well as strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Order Entry: Accurately enter orders into our system, ensuring all necessary information is included and entered correctly.
- Purchase Order (PO) Creation and Setup: Create purchase orders based on customer orders and ensure they are properly set up in our system.
- Excel Proficiency: Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining order records. Must be comfortable with formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
- Timely Execution: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and shipping to ensure smooth order processing and resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Worked in the garment district or industy.
- Previous experience in order entry or related administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business administration or related field is a plus.
