JOB SUMMARY

The Product Developer, Woven's RTW at Khaite plays a crucial role in translating creative designs into production-ready garments. As a Product Developer, you will collaborate closely with the design, development, production teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of fit, quality, and construction in the luxury space.

You will be responsible for managing the product development process, attending fittings, preparing sample packages, and maintaining accurate flow of product details to all relevant parties and in PLM system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the development calendar and assist Product Development manager in coordinating fittings, patternmaker handoffs, factory visits
  • Track the development schedule of all assigned products to ensure timely completion of development according to the product calendars & target factory approval dates
  • Ensure all materials are prepared and present in each fitting, handoff meetings
  • Attends all fittings and maintain precise documentation on product details as they evolve in the development process
  • Manage sample launches, which involves preparing cut tickets, corrected patterns and managing our team of interns to execute the sample package preparations
  • Maintain all updates in PLM system - RLM (style entries, bom, cut tickets etc.)
  • Visit local factories / vendors as needed to protect sample deliveries and quality
  • Identifies at risk styles, and react proactively, being on top of potential issues
  • Manage expenses and invoice submission
  • Manage a team of interns with clear direction and daily task list
  • Work with Raw material teams to confirm all materials are available for protos and SMS
  • Update digital design boards, WIPs

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, providing clear communication
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong team player

Education/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Product development required
  • Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel required
  • Proficiency in RLM is a plus

The salary range is $65,000-80,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. Other benefits include a company bonus plan, employee discounts, medical, dental, vision, a 401k plan and other ancillary benefits.
