Job Description:
PosteLouis Vuitton Americas is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the Retail Operations and General Expenses Procurement activities. The categories include, but are not limited to: Asset Protection, Store Maintenance & Repairs, Client and Employee Amenities, Office Supplies, Utility, Corporate & Finance Services. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, mitigating risks, and optimizing processes for the assigned categories.
  • Execute RFI, RFQ, RFP.
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy for the Retail Operations and General Expenses categories, aligned with the company's business objectives and based on current situation diagnosis, need analysis, cost analysis and supplier market analysis.
  • Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting processes to ensure the best terms, conditions, quality, and cost for goods and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers through Quarterly Business Review Meetings, address performance or quality issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
ProfilThe Procurement Manager will be a brand ambassador and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Retail Operations and Finance teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement recommendations and solutions. Additionally, you will conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and develop a comprehensive supplier database. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements throughout the procurement process. Track cost savings and cost avoidance in company's reporting savings tool on a regular basis with detailed calculation records. The manager will identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce overall costs. As well as support the Louis Vuitton Sustainability and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives within the assigned categories. Taking a commercial mindset approach they will stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics. The ideal candidate will possess a background in retail luxury and experience in procurement, finance or related field with a focus on Retail Operations & General Expenses. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, negotiation strategies, and contract management. Outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to challenge the status quo and generate new and disruptive ideas. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to speak foreign languages is a plus (French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian). The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $115,000-125,000 annually plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
