Job Description:
Safra National Bank is seeking a Private Banking Assistant to interface with clients and other departments of the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Open client accounts
- Explain financial services and products to customers
- Maintain client base, keep current client plans up-to-date on an ongoing basis
- Answer clients questions about purposes and details of financial plans and strategies
- Perform any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university Preferred
- Series 7 license is required
- 2+ years of related experience in financial markets and/or financial products or related
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred
- Experience in a client-facing role working with high net worth Latin American clients.
- Ability to discuss legal matters pertaining to the structure of investments and follow up with lawyers to obtain documents as necessary
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
