locationsGBR - Kingston time typeFull time posted onPosted Today job requisition idR0023593 The Pre-Sales Consultant (PSC) is an expert on the Wolters Kluwer TAA UK solution suite. As amember of the sales team, the PSC will partner with the Account Managers to support the acquisition of new clients and cross sell to existing clients.

**Support sales team on proposal and solutions to customers:**

* Conduct demo discovery calls with clients that focus on determining the demo script to be followed

* Prepare for demos by configuring demo system and loading demo data as needed so client sees as close to an exact fit for their needs as we can deliver

* Prepare for all demos well in advance of their delivery to ensure that all critical needs can be met and that the system performs without errors for all demo scenarios

* Engage with client to determine what to show in demos and show client that Wolters Kluwer has deep knowledge of their business; inspire client trust and confidence

* Conduct webinars showcasing the solution to prospects and existing customers.

**Proposal Development / Response:**

* Review RFPs and RFIs within 48 hours of receipt to determine response plan

* Work with Account Managers to determine qualification level for RFI or RFP

* Prepare detailed plan for RFI or RFP response that outlines key activities and due dates

* Prepare complete proposal content independently or working in conjunction with Account Managers / Product Manager and Product Owners as agreed

* Develop and maintain a master demo script that can be adapted to each client

* Maintain multiple demonstration environments and quickly determine which to use for a given demo

**Desired Skills & Experience**

Ideally you will have come from an accountancy background and have experience in using accountancy related software solutions.

This role in Pre-Sales will be heavily customer facing so will need an individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is also happy and able to travel extensively around the UK.

**Required Skills**

* Outstanding interpersonal and oral/written communication skills

* Excellent listening capability; analytical construction of message content; clear and concise delivery of message

* Able to develop complete and accurate written proposals with minimal need for review

* Consultative solutions selling skills

* Strong technical/systems management aptitude

* Capable of independently configuring a tailored demo for a client with complex needs and requirements with minimal reliance on development resources

**Key Performance Indicators**

Demonstrations

* Number of demonstrations conducted monthly =>20

* Percent of demonstrations the result in successful sale =>80%

* Value of sales orders derived following demonstrations >500k

Proposal development

* 100% of RFIs and RFPs are reviewed within 48 hours of receipt by WK with issues and concerns identified post-review

* 100% of proposals are submitted on time

* 100% of proposals are compliant with client instructions from RFP

* 100% of proposals are submitted for review at least 48 hours prior to due date unless agreed otherwise

This is a remote based position in the UK, with a possible 25% travel.
