**Position Summary:**
RV Mechanics do a little bit of everything: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you can do any one of these, well teach you the rest! To get started as a new RV mechanic in our dealership, you dont need specific RV experience, but you do need to be handy, responsible, and professional. A successful RV Mechanic must be dedicated, have the ability to diagnose and fix problems, and have a focus on quality.
**Essential Functions:**
* Work closely with the Service and Sales Managers on preparing for final delivery
* Go through the inspection check-list prior to customer delivery date.
* Ensure all paperwork has been completed.
**Education, Experience and Work Requirements:**
* High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
* RVIA certification preferred but not required
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
* Strong attention to detail
* Well-versed in all maintenance and repairs
* Must have own tools appropriate to skill level
* Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service-oriented
