Position Summary:

Electrochemical Energy Materials Laboratory, PI: Gang Wu Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering ( , University at Buffalo, State University of New York. We are seeking well-trained researchers with an excellent work ethic and the ability to interact with a team to work on projects focusing on electrocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis for clean energy conversion and environmental sustainability.

Job Responsibilities will include:

+ Developing and synthesizing high-performance fuel cell and electrolyzer catalysts.

+ Summarizing quarterly reports to sponsors.

+ Publishing relevant results in scientific journals.

Applicants who are self-motivated and can work independently as well as in collaboration with other group members and collaborators to achieve project milestones are especially valued. Most of our ongoing projects are funded by U.S. DOE gauged by materials performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ The candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ In particular, we are interested in those who have research experience and excellent publication records in the areas of oxygen reduction in acids, oxygen evolution in both acidic and alkaline media, nitrogen reduction for NH3 synthesis, CO2 reduction, and NH3 decomposition for H2 generation. Experience in PEM fuel cells and direct methanol fuel cells is also beneficial.
