Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and ensure activities exceed company safety, health and environmental standards
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must
- Troubleshoot PLC, source and resolve programming issues
- Build and wire control panels on automated machinery per blueprints and schematics
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using a variety of electrical/mechanical tests
- Performs scheduled maintenance to equipment to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Perform adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of plant equipment
- Tracks and updates work orders using Company CMMS
- Completes electrical installations, repairs, and/or modifications to various types of plant equipment
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance departments to resolve day-to-day maintenance issues
- Strong engineering and technical skills including PLC, Electrical and Mechanical Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates in software, mechanical or electrical with a PLC certification/programming
- Strong working knowledge of Allen-Bradley control systems
Other Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of industrial network protocols
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, schematics and blue prints
- Ability to work varied shift schedules and start times based on business needs
- Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be proficient with computer:
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Project Management Software (Project, Primavera, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Plant/Yard: Move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, walk, climb, bend at the waist, reach, forceful use of hand tools, vocal projection
Work Environment:
- Plant/Yard: All types of weather conditions (year-round in the Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehicles, vibrations from machinery and vehicles, loud noises, little to no climate control, varying amounts of light, stairs, narrow walkways
