Job Type Full-timeDescriptionAnoplate is seeking an experienced Plant Electrician to join our team. As the Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment, industrial controls and mechanical equipmentthroughout the manufacturing plant. Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of DC power supplies of plating processes.
- Calibrate and certify volt and amp gauges for plating rectifiers.
- Preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair non- current technology logic panels including hard relays, timers, and counters.
- Ability to locate, diagnose and remedy issues quickly to avoid shutdowns.
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance.
- Comprehending mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints and or operation manuals.
RequirementsMinimum
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Have basic knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, air compressors, and pneumatic hydraulic knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot and re-wire automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, servomotors, and PLC I/O modules.
- Ability to perform calibrations, installation and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation.
- Proficient technical skills including ability to utilize electrical meters, calibration devices and other electrical monitoring and troubleshooting tools (i.e., VOM, AMP Meter).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn company specific computer-based programs.
Preferred Requirements
- A.A.S degree or technical training/ apprenticeship.
- Apprenticeship or attended technical training.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License
