This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead and manage the financial operations of our company. As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. You will also be tasked with executing financial analysis, cash flow projection, and general ledger entries. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial analysis, and a strong knowledge of financial reporting systems.Why join us?Benefits:

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls within the plant.
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of plant results.
  • Prepare financial reports that outline the plant's financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
  • Perform financial analysis, prepare financial statements, and generate financial reports for leadership to aid in business decision making.
  • Ensure accurate general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and manage the budgeting process.
  • Work closely with the sales team to calculate commissions and handle sales and use tax reporting.
  • Conduct inventory analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management on the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial statements, cash flow projection, and ADP.
  • Demonstrated experience in calculating commissions, sales and use tax reporting, and inventory analysis.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience creating and presenting detailed reports.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
