Position Summary
With over 60 Years of Transplant Excellence at Weill Cornell Medicine, the Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Program strives to maximize opportunities for transplantation for all patients who seek our care and expertise.
We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to work in the outpatient clinic, following patients post-transplant, working closely with the Nephrology and surgical teams. Under direction, the Physician Assistant performs history and physical examinations. Establishes a presumptive diagnosis and performs a general work-up including the ordering of appropriate laboratory studies. Under supervision, is responsible for the patient s medical issues following the diagnosis. May assist medical staff with pre, intra- and post-operative surgical activities and research projects in assigned area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4 days per week

Experience
Graduate of an accredited Physicians' Assistant program from recognized college or university.
Approximately 2 years of clinical experience as a PA in a physician practice or hospital setting, preferably within a related specialty.
Up to one year of post-degree course work and/or an internship and less than one year of previous experience may be considered.
