Adecco is hiring Physical Therapists in various towns along Long Island, NY! Physical Therapists are needed in Smithtown, Selden, Setauket, Riverhead, Center Moriches, and Suffolk County.
Type: Permanent hire
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday Friday (schedule can be flexible)
Pay: 85k 95k + Possible sign on bonus (based on experience)
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:
Will be hands on treating patients
Will see approx. 75 patients/ week while the office is growing, once a third PT is hired this will cut down even more.
Patients are mostly adults and geriatric, some pediatrics, Ortho is huge
Will have support staff, receptionist, PTA s
Will evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist:
Licensed PT in NY
No experience needed, new grads are welcome
Some outpatient experience is preferred
Orthopedic experience is preferred
