Phlebotomist - Per Diem-Sunnyview Rehab Hospital-Schenectady, NY

If you are looking for an opportunity to work as a Per Diem Phlebotomist in a dynamic state-of-the-art physical rehab hospital and hours of 3am-7am work for your schedule, this might be your opportunity. Here at St. Peter's Health Partner's, we care for more people in more places.

What you will do:

* The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing venipunctures in order to collect blood specimens for laboratory analysis.

* Receive and process a variety of patient specimens to send to our reference lab

* Utilize proper safety measures for obtaining specimens by following Hospital Health and Safety Guidelines.

* Must be available to work hours of 3am-7am

What you will need:

* High school diploma or GED is required.

* Phlebotomy experience or training is a Must

* Previous clerical experience is preferred, in a healthcare setting

* Excellent People/Communication skills

* Computer skills and medical terminology

* Attention to detail

Pay Range: $17.85-$22.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
