Job Description1. Responsible for maintaining and utilizing Omnicell automation product as directed by the Customer during his/her scheduled hours.2. Will prepare and maintain the Omnicell automation equipment (ADCs and AWSs) for daily use.3. Perform general equipment troubleshooting4. Maintain optimal medication inventory levels, review and maintain reports.5. Will identify any customer concerns (nursing) to the Pharmacy Informatics Assistant Director.6. Monitor and maintain formulary inventory levels to ensure availability of medications for daily dispensing.7. Responsible for prescribed maintenance of automation products and reporting unresolved issues to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC)8. Recommend drugs to be added to automation products based on data usage, demand, and workflow.9. Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the equipment according to recommended best practices.10. Inspect equipment for issues, wear, and functionality.11. Resolve common system issues.12. Monitor trends to help determine root cause of issues.13. Maintain a high level of communication to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.14. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy services program to provide customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.15. Conduct orientation and training and ensure completion of all required documents and compliance with all procedures and policies.16. Promote customer satisfaction by serving as a skilled resource.17. Participates in a planning processes by establishing personal goals to support quality improvement.18. Maintain onsite inventory of supplies for ADCs and AWSs.19. Conduct QA duties such as auditing proper use of the equipment by Pharmacy and Nursing as well as removal of expired medications.20. Ongoing inspection of equipment to ensure are in working order.
