Job Description:

As a Pharmaceutical Planner/Scheduler with Pharma Automation Expertise, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules while leveraging advanced automation systems. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, coupled with expertise in automation technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure the seamless flow of production activities.

3 days required onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling:

Develop and maintain detailed Master Project Schedules, utilizing LEAN project management methodologies and other industry software standards (TAKT, Last Planner System, Pull Planning, Primavera ).

Collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and quality control, to ensure alignment of schedules with overall business objectives.

Automation Integration:

Identify opportunities to enhance production processes through the integration of automation technologies.

Collaborate with the automation engineering team to implement and optimize automated solutions, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling processes and automation systems to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.

Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with production managers, quality assurance teams, and supply chain professionals to ensure seamless coordination across the manufacturing process.

Provide regular updates and reports to relevant stakeholders regarding production schedules and automation performance.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all scheduling activities and automation implementations comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.

Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/life science environment, with a strong emphasis on automation in a pharmaceutical environment.

In-depth knowledge of automation technologies, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, and process control systems.

Working knowledge of Target Value Delivery, Last Planner , Takt planning, Touchplan , NetPoint is a significant a plus.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
