As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Latham, NY.

Job Description: We are looking for a talented Personal Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of high value, affluent personal lines insurance accounts and provide outstanding service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the personal insurance policies, including but not limited to auto, home, renters, and umbrella coverage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Review insurance policies and coverage options with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on insurance products, coverage limits, and risk management strategies.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues on behalf of clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to better serve clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance or related field.
  • Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
  • Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with insurance agency management systems.
