**Personal Assistant to Owner of Interior Design Studio In Chelsea**

New York, New York Our client, a growing and dynamic interior design firm, located in Chelsea, is looking to hire a Executive Personal Assistant to handle all of business and personal matters. This is an incredible opportunity for a candidate with at least 5+ years of EA/PA experience in the Architecture or Interior Design space to work for an incredible and creative firm. The candidate must be polished, professional and have a nothing is beneath me attitude. **THIS ROLE IS 100% IN PERSON 5X A WEEK.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Maintain Founders day-to-day schedule - liaise daily with driver and household staff to ensure Founder stays on-time and on-task serve as gatekeeper as needed with clients, vendors, press.

* Maintain a high-volume work and personal calendar and an updated Outlook contact database.

* Set meetings (including in-person, conference call lines and ZOOM) and schedule appointments, both work-related and personal.

* Draft correspondence for the Founder, including interview responses and social media content handle confidential correspondence.

* Organize and coordinate full travel arrangements for business and personal travel (both domestic and international) including lodging, commercial flights, charter air, ground transportation, tours, dining reservations and special activities.

* Oversee the operations of five properties (New York City, Rockland County, NY, Hawaii and two in Texas) manage staff and maintenance suppliers, provide direction for repairs/modifications and spearhead execution of capital projects.

* Liaise with principals spouse (founder of a hedge fund) and spouses EA on family arrangements serve as backup to spouses EA as needed.

* Coordinate schedules for three children, including doctors appointments and after school activities.

* Coordinate dining reservations and help plan special events.

* Facilitate all bill pay personal expenses, credit cards, property/maintenance expenses liaise with the familys COO on monthly cash flow needs.

* Purchase gifts and handle returns run personal errands as needed.

* Oversee ad hoc projects as requested such as art collection inventory and annual holiday card mailing.

* For the Studio manage all operations, including mail sorting and disbursement, hiring and onboarding of team members, conducting annual performance reviews, ordering supplies, liaise with clients on contracts and billing questions, and work with business manager on cash flow needs.?

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Strong team player with the ability to engage with people at all levels and build solid, trusting relationships.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word.)

* A focus on timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy and precision in the completion of all work.

* Reliable and dependable a calm, friendly demeanor.

* Operates with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.

* Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional and polished manner are a must.

* Must be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

* Ideal candidate is comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.

* Ideal candidate displays proactive thinking and creativity in problem solving.

* Must be able to easily commute to NYC studio.

* A completed bachelors degree, excellent professional references and a personal background check are required

**SALARY**

(DOE) + discretionary bonus

**HOURS**

9:00am-6:00pm + flexibility for OT
