The Perinatal Education Instructor is responsible for providing education to childbearing families utilizing evidence-based information which reflects current standards of care and practice.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Adapt information and approach to be appropriate to the age of the patients
• Develop lesson plans.
• Maintaining knowledge base and providing high quality educational instruction

Requirements:

• Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse
• Certified Childbirth Educator
• Knowledge of Maternal-Child Nursing re: Prenatal, Intrapartum and Postpartum periods
• Strong teaching skills
• Added skills and/or certification in specific area are preferred
• BLS/AED

Posted Salary Range:USD $50.00 - USD $52.50 /Hr. :
