The Payroll Coordinator position is located in the New York City headquarters, supporting 1000+ employees of the company. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely administration preparing and processing payroll as well as maintain payroll related data.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and process both weekly and bi-weekly hourly payroll for approximately 1,000+ employeesOrganize, maintain, and update employee wage, tax, and personal information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)Investigate and promptly respond to complex employee inquiries regarding wages, taxes, Paid Time Off (PTO), and deductions in a clear, concise, and timely mannerReview and record Paid Time Off (PTO) requests for biweekly salaried and hourly payrollGenerate payroll adjustments as necessaryProduce and reconcile timesheets to certified payroll reports and identify and resolve any discrepanciesAssist in periodic audits, both internally and externallyQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of studyMinimum of two (2) years of payroll and timekeeping experienceProfessional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively document and report important information with all levels of the organizationExceptional attention to detail to ensure all process steps are followed and data/information is correctDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesHighly proficient and fully functional in the Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretionOutstanding oral and written communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Service provider backgroundWinTeam and ePAY experienceCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designationBENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirementsPaid time off offered at an accrual rate of 4.923 hours bi-weeklyEight paid holidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more Pay $60,000 to $65,000 per yearAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
