Job Description Our ImageCareinLatham hiring a full-time Patient Support Representative to join their team! The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. The primary responsibility of this role is to answer phones in a high-volume call center, and to schedule appointments. Responsibilities:
  • Answer multiple line phone system, forwarding calls to appropriate location or handling calls personally when appointments are needed.
  • Remove messages from phone system and return calls to patients as needed.
  • Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, following office protocols for access to care.
  • Document verbal conversations and information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
  • Transfer/retrieve office phones to/from answering service.
  • Answer overflow of phone calls and direct appropriately.
  • Process incoming telephone calls/messages based on office policy and procedure.

  • High school graduate or equivalent with additional education desirable.
  • Minimum of one year work experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures preferred.
  • Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, family members, physicians, providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
