Patient Registration Clerk- Emergency DepartmentSpringville, NYPart Time. Nights. 10:00pm - 6:00am. Weekend rotations required. Includes possible Flex to Evening shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm. $16.82 -$17.84 per hour with shift differential of $.80 and $1.00 based on shift. $500 Part Time Sign-On Bonus.Benefits include access to health coverage, Paid Tim Off, Paid Sick time, Union Pension planAs the first person our patients meet at BCH Emergency Department, the Registration Clerk obtains and enters accurate patient details into our medical records system to be used by the hospital and physicians. Notify Emergency Department staff and other departments of a incoming patients as needed.Responsible for emergency code phone and announce emergencies via paging system.Collect necessary patient documentation, legal consents and authorization forms Prepares patient chart, identification bracelet. Enter data, complete and distribute all necessary patient charts, forms or reports.Works in an often fast paced high stress environment in cooperation with healthcare professionals. RequiredHS diploma or GEDPrevious Medical Reception OR Medical Office experience Computer skills are requiredStrong communication skills are requiredAbility to succeed in a high stress environment and work cooperatively with others.
