Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health.Principal Accountabilities:Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressingObtains and records vital signs, weights, and heightsAssists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activitiesPerforms post mortem carePerforms EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoringObserves and reports changes in patients' condition to the RNMaintains phlebotomy equipment and inventoryOther related duties as assigned.Required:HS Diploma or equivalent?EMT certification and/or nursing assistant certificationPreferred:Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and writtenPatient, compassionate natureAbility to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nursesProficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systemsAtlantic Medical Group is a physician-led and physician-governed organization that delivers the highest quality health care, at the right place, the right price, and the right time.
