The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our parts department, including inventory forecasting, shipping, receiving, and credit card processing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on our operations, driving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the parts department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.2. Conduct regular inventory forecasting to anticipate future needs accurately, reduce surplus, and avoid shortages.3. Oversee the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery and receipt, proper handling, and accurate documentation.4. Manage credit card processing for parts purchases, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure transactions.5. Develop and implement strategies for improving parts department operations, including inventory management, shipping/receiving processes, and credit card processing.6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of parts operations with overall manufacturing processes.7. Regularly review and analyze department performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.9. Train, mentor, and supervise parts department staff, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a parts management role within the manufacturing industry.2. Proven experience with inventory forecasting, shipping, receiving, and credit card processing.3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving operational efficiency and team performance.4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.5. Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.6. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, other departments, and external parties.7. Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management, shipping/receiving, and credit card processing.8.
