Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The packer is responsible for packing rolls after slitting on the Slitter and place cores in rolls to prepare for shipping. RESPONSIBILITIES: Abide by all Safety and Housekeeping guidelines Working knowledge of ISO, SQF, GMPs Inspect and pack finished product on one or more injection molding machines Check quality of the product and the packaging Apply labels or handles to products or containers as required Keep count of finished product Keep count of any scrapped product Complete all required paperwork Assist in training others Other duties as assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred Basic computer skills Essential duties include some lifting, pushing, pulling, walking/standing on concrete surface for up to 10 hours/day.
