Job Description:
Job Title: Oracle ODI Developer Employment Type: Contract Work Hours: 40+hrs./week Work site: Hybrid Location: Irving Place, New York, NY 10003 Salary : $42 - $75/hr Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday; 8am - 5pm.
  • Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop interfaces utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Map data between transaction applications, data warehouses, and other systems.
  • Create Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) interfaces or packages.
  • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models adhering to data specification standards.
  • Collaborate with business customers, system architects, developers, and IT sections to develop enterprise-grade integrations.
  • Determine and document business needs for ETL processes via ODI.
  • Document ETL processes, source code, and controls using standard tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and performance of data structures.
  • Integrate ODI with multiple sources/targets; use Python or Java scripts for ETL interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot ODI and WebLogic server issues within the OAS environment.
  • Lead complex integration projects, assess risks, and create project plans.
  • Develop integration design documents, project plans, and business cases.
  • Use HPI tools; respond to incidents, triage and remediate issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Communicate effectively across stakeholder groups to influence project outcomes.
  • Engage with customers and business leaders, solicit and implement feedback, and manage change.
  • Develop written policies, procedures, job aids, and instructions.
  • Must be flexible and able to work off-hours to support deployments and resolve production problems.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Relevant Work Experience:
  • Experience with Load balancing and High Availability in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases for performance tuning and optimization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with various audiences.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required for the job.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities.
  • Experience with production support and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide off-hour production support on a rotating schedule.
