Our client a top tier international banking firm is seeking a junior level P&S Operations Trade Support associate to join their growing team. In this role you will play a vital role in facilitating smooth trading operations within our firm. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Trade Processing:** Assist in the timely and accurate processing of options trades, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
2. **Trade Confirmations:** Generate and reconcile trade confirmations with counterparties, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
3. **Settlements:** Support the settlement process for options trades, including trade matching and resolution of settlement issues.
4. **Risk Management:** Assist in monitoring and managing operational risks related to options trading activities.
5. **Client Support:** Provide support to clients and internal stakeholders on trade-related inquiries and issues.
6. **Trade Reconciliation:** Perform daily trade reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of trade data.
7. **Systems Management:** Maintain and update trading systems and databases to reflect accurate trade information.
8. **Regulatory Compliance:** Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting options trading and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including obtaining or pursuing the Series 99 qualification.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
2. Strong interest in financial markets and options trading.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Series 99 qualification preferred or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
