About The RoleThe Operations Tech Support role is responsible for the installation and breakdown of Billfold tablets/POS systems, assisting with inventory, update, and maintenance of equipment, and providing technical support to staff and guests.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Check all devices upon arrival for good working order, alerting Tech Lead if devices need repair or replacement
  • Setup devices per instructions from Tech Lead
  • Check WiFi and bluetooth to ensure connectivity is enabled
  • Ensure wiring is in good working order
  • Perform walkthroughs of the venue throughout the event to ensure machines are in good working order and troubleshoot, as necessary
  • Provide technical support to staff and guests
  • Shutdown devices at end of event, cleaning and properly storing them to charge
  • Locate/create power solutions at all bars, secure power outlets under every bar to ensure all devices have power
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
  • AA degree in a technical field, a plus
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
Physical Requirements
  • Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
  • Must be able to work standing for extended periods
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift 50 pounds
Compensation
  • Hourly rate for this position is $18-$25
